1. Initial Payment:
1.1 Upon agreement to proceed with our web design services, the client agrees to make an initial payment as outlined in the project proposal, order form, or invoice provided. The initial payment is required to secure a spot in our design queue and initiate the project.
1.2 The initial payment is non-refundable and will be considered as a commitment to proceed with the project.
2. Project Scope and Additional Requests:
2.1 The project scope will be defined in a detailed project proposal. This proposal will outline the deliverables, timelines, and costs for the web design services.
2.2 Any additional requests or changes to the project scope made by the client after the project has commenced may result in additional charges. These changes will be discussed and agreed upon in writing before implementation.
2.3 Additional charges will be calculated based on the complexity and time required to complete the new requests. A new invoice will be provided to the client outlining the cost of the changes.
3. Payment Terms:
3.1 All payments, including the initial payment and additional charges, are due within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
3.2 We accept payment through cash, credit/debit card, Interac e-transfer.
3.3 In the event that any payment is not received within the specified time frame, we reserve the right to suspend work on the project until the payment is received.
4. Intellectual Property:
4.1 Upon the client's full and final payment of all outstanding fees, the client will own the rights to the finalized web design, subject to any third-party elements used.
4.2 We retain the right to showcase the completed project in our portfolio and use it for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5. Project Timeline:
5.1 We will make every effort to complete the web design project within the agreed-upon timeline. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in project scope.
5.2 We will communicate promptly with the client regarding any delays or changes to the project timeline.
6. Client Responsibilities:
6.1 The client agrees to provide all necessary content, materials, and information required for the project in a timely manner.
6.2 The client will review and provide feedback on deliverables within a reasonable time frame to avoid project delays.
7. Confidentiality:
7.1 Both parties agree to keep any confidential information shared during the course of the project confidential and not disclose it to any third parties.
8. Termination:
8.1 Either party may terminate the project at any time with written notice to the other party.
8.2 In the event of termination, the client will be responsible for payment for all services provided up to the termination date.
9. Changes to Terms of Service:
9.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these terms of service at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and the updated terms will be applicable to new projects.
